A dream of spherical Universes

** Please note that in this blog , I am writing about a dream that I had a few years back. Please do not take this seriously , as this is not by any means a representation of any particular belief. What you make out of this is purely your choice.** < Pics generated by AI >

March 2021-Yesterday I had a strange but wonderful dream .

I saw that I was alone on a beach and the waves were hitting the shores in only one specific location . As I started looking at the sky I could see numerous stars grazing in the vast open. I could even look at the milky way and the beauty of the space made me so mesmerized that I started feeling a sense of overwhelming fear.  I started running away from the sea as fast as I could. Though I knew that I had nothing to fear, but the sheer beauty of the space made me run away from it. As I receded, I could actually see that the vast open is basically a huge sphere , and the stars were dazzling on its surface like the street lights seen from the cabin of a landing airplane. In an instant I knew it to be our universe . I remember that I had read earlier that the universe started from a dot smaller than an atom and is expanding ever since. I sensed that this spherical object is also inflating like a round balloon equally in all directions. What I could gather from my vision was that the Universe is also like a planet and there is a distant shore from where we can see it rise and set just like we see the Sun rising and setting in the horizon from Earth's surface. At this moment I woke up but the vision remained for a long time in my mind.
Next day , that is today I started asking Google if there is any theory on the Spherical Universe and it told me that some scientists are speculating on this. Now I have many questions before me . First if the Universe is a continuously growing sphere then I understand that Time and Space are the 2 dimensions of its growth. But a perspective exists somewhere which can see the entire universe rising and setting. Understanding that particular perspective becomes many times more important than what happens within the universe.

If I can see our Universe similar to a star or a planet we can easily understand that there might be other universes with their own set of space , time and fundamental laws. Do they exert gravitation power on our universe as well ? As it grows the distance between 2 universes must be growing smaller leading to greater gravitational pull. Will these 2 finally collide to create the death of one universe so that another one can be formed from its ashes. Can it be that when I was watching our universe set over the horizon I was part of a bigger spherical entity ( let us call it the grand universe , for simplicity )  that contains multiple universes . Maybe then there is another Great Grand Universe perspective that exists which can view the rise and set of many Grand Universes. Many such great great grand universes may be floating in the vastness at their different stages of lifecycle just the way we see different types of stars lighting our sky.

Where does it all end ? Which one is the final perspective ? It is beyond human capacity to realize this vastness. I am again thinking in terms of the Human scale of space and time. It might be that when we move from our Universe to a grand Universe the sense of time changes completely and with each successive leap there is further deviation in the definition of time , space , fundamental laws , energy and matter. All we know is that it is beyond us to fathom this enormous hierarchy. Now the question is why such an enormous structure is in place. We will probably never know why a simple linear structure is not sufficient. I had no significant vision in my dream to address this concern but I could only feel the beauty of it . The biggest thing that we ever know of , beyond which we are not even capable to think of , was seen rising before my eyes. The milky ways were like cities and the stars like the well lit lamps in the streets seen far above from the sky. If I were able to connect to the grand universe in my dreams , is it also possible to get there through intuitive knowledge. At Least in my dream it seemed a possibility. Could it be that different stages of existence connect our human perspective to the final grandest perspective of all existence ? These layers are like hurdles to overcome in our journey to the final perspective. But just by crossing one hurdle you can understand that hierarchies do exist and it is many times more important to shift focus to the intuitive understanding of the natural world than studying our universal laws in detail. Because it is just an instance of the function and not the function itself.
However it is possible that this was a feat of imagination without having any significance to scientific understanding of facts. The problem is that when I started researching on the internet it came out that scientists are considering the possibility of a spherical universe and in Hindu religious tradition the world has been thought of as a concentric sphere where each layer represents an independent state of existence and connected only by a deeper spiritual understanding.  Before this dream came to me I never read anything about the spherical universe or the ideas expressed in puranas. All of this information came to me as I was trying to add a meaning to my dreams last night.

On 21st  March I experienced somewhat similar dream , though it was not a direct vision but more of a contemplation. I started thinking where this array of multiverses exists ? It is not having any real absolute existence but exists only with relation to an observer. It is like wherever I go the stage pops out from nothing. It is like playing a video game; the screens are rendered only when you are in a position to observe that.

The middle class trap

I have heard this many times that middle class life is bliss. You are not rich enough to be insecure with your wealth, not poor enough to be incapable of meeting your survival needs. It is the middle class that is the fuel of the economy. We, the middle class people, should aspire to educate ourselves , have ambitions to be rich and lead a moral disciplined life. We should be loyal to our friends , families and our jobs. We should be religious and honest and punctual and be sensitive to the needs of the society.  However, when I think carefully , it seems that the existence of middle class itself is an illusion. Someone who is a middle class in USA  is a poor class person in Africa. Even within the middle class , there are numerous sub classes with complex interactions between them. In India a Brahmin and a Sudra can both be economically middle class but in terms of social hierarchy , one of them enjoys higher power and prestige than the other. The use of the term middle class...

The twenty laws of The Mother

  1) The words that symbolizes The Universal power like God, Allah, Krishna , Kali , Universe , Energy , Shakti and many others are mere synonyms. To these words , I may add another one , " The Universal Mother" , the ONE , who expresses herself through NATURE.  2) The Universe is the play of existence and non existence and the mutual interactions between them. If Shakti is existence , Shiva is non-existence. They are inseparable and essentially two different but complementary perspectives of the same entity.  3) Reality is made of pairs of opposites . We can not think of Life separated from Death  or of Good without thinking of evil. These are interdependent of each other and cannot exist in isolation. 4) Matter is Energy that is condensed in finite time and space. Matter is one of many manifestations of energy. The creative and destructive energy of the Universe is manifestation of consciousness. This is the One source of all Truth and Bliss. We can call it Love....

The Introduction to the Bhagavad Gita by Aldous Huxley

This interpretation of perennial philosophy (Sanatana-dharma) by Aldous Huxley is one of my favorite reads from the subject of Philosophy. When I first read it , I realized that it does not take understanding of Quantum Physics and Neurosciences to know the reality. Consciousness , herself has the ability to realize herself through an intuitive knowledge.  The Perennial Philosophy, as realized by the subjective experiences of many mystics , in different religious traditions , offers a universal metaphysical framework that transcends individual world views. It emphasizes the interconnectedness of all life and things in the Universe and promotes a path of self-realization and divine unity, offering a profound alternative to the materialistic and action-oriented philosophies that dominate modern thought.  Here it is : "The Introduction to the Bhagavad Gita by Aldous Huxley (The Introduction is in the Translation of Bhagavad-Gita by Swami Prabhavananda and Christopher Isherwood.) ...
