All that needs to be known!
The knowledge of reality is purely an intuitive one .
Science however cannot believe in intuition and that creates a conflict between science and human experience , which is driven by various emotions defined by prevalent social and cultural norms. No book ever written can convey the same feelings and understanding of reality that the writer experienced and documented. You just cannot hold eternity in a container and the moment you try to do that you fail.
Mathematically , expressing an infinite series is possible , but only when we set bounding limits and an error equation , which in itself is an infinite series function.
Buddha , Christ and others have already expressed the nature of infinite reality in human minds but in spite of their dedicated efforts we have failed to realize their meaning in their entirety.
Firstly , the moment it is expressed the infinite nature of the thought reduces to human capacity , that exists in that particular point in human history.
Secondly , political forces are always lurking around the corner to use a popular thought as a tool for mass mobilization. The thoughts are misrepresented , distorted and often reworked to fit an idea that goes perfectly well with a well defined political agenda.
Throughout the ages economies have driven politics and motivated social movements that benefit a certain class of people , who have used religious ideas to empower themselves financially and politically.
A great teacher might have talked about the nature of reality to uplift the masses but the impact he had on humanity is always diluted sooner or later , only to be hijacked by political and social groups with economic interests.
Organized religion , as we know it today , is one such group that exploits human weaknesses and our natural tendencies to drive us to do certain pre-defined actions. These actions are actually intended to benefit a certain section of society. Marx has referred to religion as the opium of the masses .
Many modern nations have proclaimed themselves as secular entities but in spite of all efforts to distance society from religion , human beings at large are still attracted to the concepts of religion and in fact, uncertainties of modern life and scientific developments have actually increased our dependence on the organized religious bodies.
Young people are no longer able to find meaning in their lives and finding shelters under the roof of fake spiritual gurus, making tall claims about Godhood. Thousands of people are gathering to listen to them and their preposterous ideas.
As secularism is thrusted upon the society people are turning to be blind followers of peculiar sects , that provide them no nourishment for the heart and the mind but only a dose of opium. These kinds of religion make no sense to intelligent people. Also this kind of secularism makes no sense to the society.
We have to understand that the nature of reality as expressed by the great sages has nothing to do with modern religion but the references are contained in the religious ideas expressed in the Holy books and the traditions of religion. We have to take the references and build our own conclusion. If we want to adopt the conclusion of others , then it will be a failed experiment.
Every religion teaches us to be morally responsible and express our gratitude to nature and existence. All Holy books tell us that we should live a simple life and not harm others. In case we fail to abide by the moral obligations we will be punished. In a sense, spiritual ideas expressed in these books are like constitutions that we all pledge to follow word by word. The imposition of strict moral laws have so far succeeded to a great extent but in order to create a just society we need something more than the books of laws.
We need to nurture an inherent intention to be good to ourselves and to the society at large. We need to tell ourselves of the grand integrity of all things made of the infinite and our role in admiring and participating in the creative process of a blooming universe.
Our culture , religion and religious ideas come in handy but they are obscured by dirt and filth accumulated over the years. Science is a better tool but it is obsessed about what is observed rather than who observes.
Our direct experience of reality is the only pointer to our self. Our sixth sense tells us many things that the other fives can never grasp. Intuitive knowledge about the oneness of the myriad forms is overwhelming for our brains but not for our heart. The idea of love as a basic necessity for the invention of universe is a practical one.
The universe was once smaller in size than an atom but is expanding ever since containing within itself multiple galaxies , stars and planets. Matter , Anti matter , Fundamental forces and many more entities that we have not yet discovered. They all have come together to create life and life itself has been recreated over the years to stage a human form that is capable of asking its non human creators how it all combined and why it all exists.
We have discovered in our experiences that beyond material reality there is an underlying non material unity that exists in all of time and space, in fact time and space are just limiting conditions of that non material entity that is smeared like a wave function and collapses in present of an universal observer.
Individual Human mind is an instance of the universal mind , busy in enjoying the fruits of existence and participating in a never ending creative process. It is taking many forms , many lives and many deaths before resting in the fathomless infinity , the source of all existence.
Infinity is all probabilities at one instance and forms emerge from it like a diverging function ,adopting certain limits only to converge back again and it all happens against a parameter named Time.
The meaninglessness of existence is apparent but when looked from an artists perspective , this becomes an opportunity to manifest the creative potential of love. Our human experience is like finding the light of love in a world filled with darkness and death.
Religion has taken us far in this journey . Science has helped us understand the reality but it is experience alone that can take us there.
When we see a beautiful flower we get delighted because it triggers certain happy chemicals in our brains. Our brains are programmed to receive the inputs and perceive them as beautiful renditions of material reality. Our neurons are also tuned to receive the intuitive knowledge of non material reality but our materially driven human civilization acts like a cloud hindering the transmission signals. We are waiting for a better weather when the clouds will recede and for a better receiver that can receive in spite of it. The more we progress in time , we will see the thinning of the cloud and better receivers around.
