Chandi- the divine feminine

To describe a certain idea we usually express it in words. Idea is a multi dimensional entity but words are flat surfaces which can provide references to the idea but can never express it in full knowledge. No matter which language we use or which way we express it certain aspects are bound to get lost in the process of communication. 

Take the word Ma , for example. It means mother. When you say this word the first person that comes to your mind is probably your mother or some mother like personality whom you admire and adore. No matter how much you try the word never expresses your relationship with her but provides only a reference. The knowledge of Mother , the realisation of the relationship , the bond of shared love all comes to the mind. Stop for a moment and think what this word means to you. No matter how much time you spent there will always be some aspect that you will not be able to express. 

There can be two options for you now. Search for a even better expression or stop expressing and start realising in your mind. 

How can we then express our relation with the universal mother , who is the source of all beings. You can say that her existence is not defined. We have not seen her , felt her or touched her so how do we know that she exists ? 

The sages tell us that She is existence herself and we exist within her realm. The laws of Nature , Matter , Energy , Force are all aspects of her existence. She is the quantum state of our existence. Time and Space flows though her, matter and anti matter comes out of her , light and darkness emanate from her . In the quantum state She is the only defined existence. Everything that is here is a part of her and hence connected to each other like fabrics sewn into a huge cloth.

The integrated wholeness of creation can be understood from Quantum Physics where every state coexists with each other unless acted upon by an Observer who defines a particular state by the process of observation. It is then when a mathematical wave function collapse to form observed reality. She is the observer who acts on the quantum function and imposes limits and conditions to the infinite to form a visible and defined finite universe within the mind of the observer. 

She is The Mind within which all minds rests. All minds are connected to each other and Her in this Mental Universe. Imagine a white paper. You can draw anything there or leave it blank. At this time it consists of all the future possibilities. Now your creativity started with the first drop of colour and it went on till you find a form that you consider beautiful. It might have a mix of forms and formlessness to enhance the beauty of the picture. 

She is the artist. Like a true artist she is creating new forms and deleting them to re create newer forms. Her insatiable hunger and lust for new forms lead Her to destroy and re create. 

A personality that is hard to explain in terms of  human defined morality but if we look at Nature what do we find. Nature is destructive yet creative. Forms come , forms and evolve and finally are destroyed to create a newer form. The natural state of Universe is chaos but order exists and finally dissolves to create more chaos. The Entropy keeps on increasing. The universe is dark and light is rare, but light exists and that is magical. 

Nature like a mother nourishes its creation. Without nourishment nothing would have existed for a fraction of a nano second. It is all loving but at times it destroys everything. She is affectionate , yet aggressive . She is the primal energy that caused Big Bang. She is the Hiryanagarbha or the cosmic egg from which everything bursted open. She is the Gravity , Electromagnetism , Strong and Weak Nuclear forces. She is Matter , Anti matter and Dark Matter. All are vibrations with specific frequencies in her field of non existence. She crafted order out of chaos and she dissolves order into chaos. 

A "near mad"  woman , a creative genius , a protector , a destroyer , but she is the one who ensured more matter than antimatter. She is the one who pulled pieces of early universe together to fuse them to form hydrogen and finally light. She is the one who selected the initial conditions of the visible universe and set forth the foundations of life. She is life force. She created perception so that we humans can perceive the Existence. 

We define Nature by our perception of it . Humans took million years to evolve but this million year itself is a human perception. To one who travels between the super cluster galaxies , 1 billion year can also be perceived as a nano second. Who defined this ? We know everything around us is Energy vibrating at different frequencies but we perceive them to be continuous objects. This is a work of a grand designer. 

How can we fully explain her ? How can we know who she is ?

By her Tamasic power she differentiated the oneness into many separate entities and created conditions that the integration is not obvious . She created the self and the ego, made us forget our quantum reality of non duality. The creative genius as She is , she made no two experiences same.She gave us ignorance so that we can enjoy our differentiated experience. 

By her rajas power she made the universe dynamic. Humans created civilisation with the help of this aspect of her power. Finally with the help of her Satvik powers, sages and wise men could decipher her in the integrated sense of the term Divine. 

The power of Mahamaya is the power of illusion. She hides the reality and makes us belief in the uniqueness of our existence. She creates the perceptions that hide the truth completely from us. She is the ego centre of the body. She is the name that identifies us.

However she creates conditions for a few so that they can break this illusion and come directly into the realisation of Her divine powers. She is the script writer and we are the actors , playing out different scenes in the stage. The three Gunas are Her attributes. Every Human being is made of varying compositions of these three attributes in different proportions and this too changes within his or her lifetime. Where do these attributes reside ? Certainly in the mind. If we observe our mind we will see all these Gunas are present in varying degrees. A person can think like a sage yet he can be a criminal or he can be a murderer yet a very Satwik person otherwise. 

Human personalities have different shades of colours . Now we are entering the world of human psychology. The science of the mind. Every action you see , good or bad has its origin in the mind. Mind controls us. The recent knowledge of human mind has helped advertisement industries to control our minds. People are collecting information about you so that they can read your mind. Everyone knows if your mind can be controlled you will do whatever the controller wants you to do. We need to free our mind from the controls. 

Then, we have the needs of our bodies controlling our minds. Hormones make us feel good or bad. Neuroscience is thought to unravel the mysteries of the brain. Someday in future we will know how our brains work , how neurones are triggered. Can material science also tell us why our brains work ? Why it is that certain molecules fused to form proteins and proteins aggregated to form cells and cells into a human brain that hosts the human mind ? It is a wrong question to ask Science for it is the question for philosophy . Philosophy says that at a quantum level all existence is just a mathematical wave function collapsed when the observer interacted with it . We are individual instances of Her, veiled by her power of the illusion of duality. The force is so strong that it is impossible to overcome it at our plane of existence. However there is a quantum chance for the mind to reach that oneness bypassing all the laws of physics. That alone is Bliss . 

Chandi is that quantum leap for mankind. To know the divine mother as She is. To know her in every particle of existence. In every force that acts upon us. In every law of Physics and Psychology. We live in Her. We breathe her.
