Chandi- the divine feminine

To describe a certain idea we usually express it in words. Idea is a multi dimensional entity but words are flat surfaces which can provide references to the idea but can never express it in full knowledge. No matter which language we use or which way we express it certain aspects are bound to get lost in the process of communication.  Take the word Ma , for example. It means mother. When you say this word the first person that comes to your mind is probably your mother or some mother like personality whom you admire and adore. No matter how much you try the word never expresses your relationship with her but provides only a reference. The knowledge of Mother , the realisation of the relationship , the bond of shared love all comes to the mind. Stop for a moment and think what this word means to you. No matter how much time you spent there will always be some aspect that you will not be able to express.   There can be two options for you now. Search for a even better expressi...

There is no spoon

Before going into the details ,let us first understand what me mean by subjective experience and objective phenomenon.  Subjective Experience is our personal, conscious experience of the world. Objective Phenomena are the physical objects and events that we think exist independently of us. The Eastern point of view has always put more focus on the subjective experience of reality and less on objective materialism. In 1930 , professor Albert Einstein met Rabindranath Tagore and their conversation centered on the nature of reality and whether it is independent of human perception. Here's a simplified summary of their discussion. It is important that we understand this conversation before we delve further into the topic.  Einstein's View (Objective Reality): Einstein believed in an objective reality that exists independently of human perception. He thought that the physical world and its laws exist whether or not we observe them. Tagore's View (Subjective Reality): Tagore argu...

Consciousness and Artificial Intelligence

by Swami Sarvapriyananda   "Yes. See, for me, AI is one more proof of the uniqueness of consciousness, and I'll tell you why. Notice what AI is doing now. It is replicating, imitating the highest functions of the human mind, you know, creativity. So what Javedji ( Famous Indian poet ) and others said, you know, there's one question you missed yesterday. Sonu Nigam ( famous Indian singer ) , Javedji, they said you'll never have AI doing poetry or music at the level of Sonu Nigam or Javed Akhtar. True. But what they also said was the ones who will be in trouble at the next level, the ones below that. So what about the B grade and C grade writers and poets and artisans and artists? How is it that AI is able to replicate, do work at that level? I was at the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan a few weeks ago, and when you enter it, there's an AI. The first thing that you see is a big display like this, and AI has been fed all the art in MoMA. And when you go in there, it...

All that needs to be known!

All that needs to be known! The knowledge of reality is purely an intuitive one .  Science however cannot believe in intuition and that creates a conflict between science and human experience , which is driven by various emotions defined by prevalent social and cultural norms. No book ever written can convey the same feelings and understanding of reality that the writer experienced and documented. You just cannot hold eternity in a container and the moment you try to do that you fail.  Mathematically , expressing an infinite series is possible , but only when we set bounding limits and an error equation , which in itself is an infinite series function.  Buddha , Christ and others have already expressed the nature of infinite reality in human minds but in spite of their dedicated efforts we have failed to realize their meaning in their entirety. Firstly , the moment it is expressed the infinite nature of the thought reduces to human capacity , that exists in that ...
